  • Offer water saving options for sheets and towels in guestrooms.
  • Paperless check-in & check-out for guests.
  • Key cards made from recycled corn products.
  • Low-flow toilets and showerheads.
  • Energy saving procedures in place for lights and a/c in meeting space and guestrooms.
  • CFL and LED lighting used where possible.
  • Easy access to public transportation or shuttle services.
  • Organic vegan products used in the Spa.
  • Clean-burning flameless candles used throughout the spa facility.
  • Food sourced from local growers and purchase organic whenever feasible.
  • Dispensers or reusable containers for beverages, food and condiments.
  • Food donations to Phoenix Herpetological Society (about 800 pounds of scraps per week).
  • Recycle program for glass, cardboard, paper, aluminum, plastic, toners and printing ink.
  • "Green Star Award" given out each month to the department with best green practices.
  • Implemented internal policy to turn off lighting and air conditioning when rooms are not in use.
  • Trip Reduction Program for employees.
  • Employee training on our new 'green' practices.
