2014 has been a year of festivities at the Arizona Biltmore and amongst many milestone celebrations is the Silver Anniversary of the Winemaker Dinner Series. The epicurean series, hailed as a signature and unforgettable dining experience in Phoenix is held at Wright’s at the Biltmore and features a unique, ingredient-centric menu of four-to-six courses created by Arizona Biltmore Executive Chef Gordon Maybury. From Napa Valley to the coast of Italy, each event will feature a select winery and the specialty wines chosen by our team of wine connoisseurs to accompany each course.
If you’re as curious about the wine-making process as we are, you’re in luck. In addition to the carefully paired menus, a representative from each featured winery will share the tales of prospering in the vineyards and the secrets that harvest the most celebrated wines.
As attendance at the Winemaker Dinners has grown over the past 25 years, so has our commitment to providing our guests with the most intriguing, palate-pleasing experience in fine dining.
Wine connoisseurs travel to attend our dinners from across the country and we are thrilled to welcome their familiar faces season after season. “We have a number of guests who have been attending multiple events per season over the past two decades. They have become a part of the Biltmore family and the whole team looks forward to their return” said Executive Chef Gordon Maybury.
For the cherry on top of the six-course-meal, the events conclude with complimentary drinks and cigars on Wright’s terrace overlooking our historic resort grounds, where mingling and enjoyment are strongly encouraged.
The 25th season of Winemaker Dinners will feature the following wineries:
- March 5, 2015: Truchard Vineyards, Napa Valley
- April 2, 2015: Robert Mondavi Winery, Napa Valley
- May 7, 2015: Sequoia Grove, Napa Valley
