Putting Course

Our championship putting course, designed by Gary Pranks, is located among the cottages west of the Squaw Peak Fountain. Featuring undulating greens with breaks and speeds, the course challenges accomplished golfers while entertaining novices. Pick up putters, balls and scorecards in the Gift Shop in the Lobby of the Historic Building.

Lawn Games

Play lawn chess, a Biltmore tradition since 1929, or test your skills at croquet, located directly across the main entrance to the Paradise Pool. Cornhole boards and bags are also available through Recreation.


Our lush oasis features eight swimming pools, including the Paradise Pool, which is highlighted by poolside cabanas, swim-up bar and a 92-foot water slide. Enjoy family-friendly movies from a pool float Friday and Saturday evenings from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Phoenix Zoo

The Phoenix Zoo is home to more than 3,000 animals and 30 different endangered species from around the world. With cafes, shops and interactive adventures like Giraffe Encounter, Monkey Village, Stingray Bay and the Safari Train, your visit will be a day to remember.

Desert Botanical Garden

This amazing botanical park features scenic trails, tours, exhibits and classes. The garden offers a variety of engaging ways to discover the true beauty of the Sonoran Desert. You can even take a behind-the-scenes tour and a tour that specializes in spotting the many species of birds who enjoy the Garden.

Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center

A unique opportunity to learn about our magnificent native wildlife. Guided tours give you an up-close view of permanent sanctuary animals as you learn their compelling stories.

Musical Instrument Museum

MIM displays more than 6,000 instruments collected from around the world. Dynamic displays are enhanced by state-of-the-art audio and video technologies that allow guests to see the instruments, hear their sounds and observe them being played in their original context.

McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park

McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park celebrates historic trains with vintage train cars, a 1950s-era carousel and rides through the 30-acre park on the Paradise & Pacific Railroad. Visit its shops, museums and playgrounds, or just relax with a picnic under the trees.

Arizona Science Center

This is a must-see if you are intrigued by science and the wonders of the universe. The Center features a planetarium, giant screen theater, educational events and lively attractions in a landmark building designed by renowned architect Antoine Predock.

Butterfly Wonderland

Butterfly Wonderland includes a magnificent glass atrium that provides a tropical rainforest habitat for thousands of butterflies from around the world, a theater, educational laboratories and interactive exhibits, a gift shop and a café.

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Arizona

There are 12 great family attractions in LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Arizona. Enjoy 4D movies, rides, a LEGO factory tour and Master Model Builder Workshops. Designed for children ages 3-10…everything is kid-sized!
