Thank You for Helping Preserve the Arizona Biltmore for Future Generations
Since 1929, the Arizona Biltmore has played host to celebrities, royalty, U.S. Presidents and generations of architecture-loving guests. An Arizona icon, the Arizona Biltmore has earned a place in the hearts and memories of community members and world travelers alike and was listed on the Phoenix Historic Property Register in 1929. As the hotel undergoes the final stages of a multi-year, multi-million dollar investment on the part of the hotel’s owners, meticulous care has been taken to restore the original Wright Bar, Cottages, Catalina Pool, to pay tribute to Frank Lloyd Wright and Albert Chase McArthur with the addition of two architecturally studding ballrooms, and to rejuvenate the historic Lobby.
Today’s Arizona Biltmore guests continue to enjoy the grandeur that has given rise to the name “Jewel of the Desert” and made this a treasured destination for 94 years and our goal is to preserve this legendary landmark for the next 100 years.
As is the custom at many historic hotels across the U.S., a Historic Preservation Fund has been established to allow our guests to play an important role in preserving the Arizona Biltmore’s legacy through their purchases at the hotel.
Therefore, the advertised Room Rate does not include taxes, Daily Resort Charge or an $11 per room, per night Historic Preservation Fund charge. Retail prices for additional purchases at the hotel do not include taxes or a 1.929% Historic Preservation Fund charge.
We thank you for your partnership in this vital preservation effort, which will support ongoing daily maintenance and future projects such as:
- Restoration and renovation of the classic Wright Bar
- Renovation of the 15 individually designed Cottages original to the Arizona Biltmore
- Preservation of the Biltmore Sprites and Tapestries
- Enhancements to the historic Catalina Pool
